Indonesia’s successful family planning program has enabled millions of
couples to better plan their families and dream of a brighter future for
their children. To make these dreams a reality, DKT Indonesia
distributes a full rage of high-quality and affordable conctraceptive
products and develops campaigns designed to inform women and men about
family planning.
DKT is involved in a number of key areas of concern:

Making contraceptive available when and where they are needed most; bridging
gaps in supply from the public and commercial sectors

Ensuring healthier pregnancies and reducing pregnancy-related deaths through
educational campaigns designed to space births
- Building Midwife Capacity
Working with Indonesia’s midwives to strengthen their abilities to deliver
high quality products and services, including proper counseling for patients
- Expanding Method Mix
Promoting informed choice through a diverse and complete range of contraceptives:
injectables, pills, IUDs, implants and condoms
- Low Income Women
Focusing on the needs of low-income and rural women, who are at the greater
risk of unintended pregnancy
